B&B on the island of Seil in Argyll. Find us next to the bridge. We have two comfortable accommodation options; Nancy our ensuite bedroom and Flora our suite.
We stayed in the upstairs accommodation where Caroline and George had set an additional bed up in the living room for our daughter -- it was like our own little 2 bedroom flat. Great bathroom, great rooms and amazing breakfast with homemade bread and muffins. Fresh cake and tea and coffee on arrival - ... excellent hosts and a super friendly dog - we couldn't have asked for more! Thank you for a wonderful stay

I had a large sparsely furnished bedroom with a comfortable bed with fantastic views of the Clachan Bridge. The entire B&B was spotlessly clean. The en suite shower room had a slightly dated shower but this had plenty of hot water and a reasonable water pressure and was easily controllable. The pub next door is only 100 yards away for dinner but booking is highly recommended as the pub is popular. There is a large guest lounge with a big TV should you want it. Highly recommended but NB/ they take cash or cheques only.

Text: Terribly disappointed. We had initially booked this for 2020 but were forced to cancel due to lockdown. We have found the owner difficult to get hold of and extremely slow to reply but eventually having managed to reach him he agreed to hold on to our deposit and rebook for the following year for the same number of people. The original terms of booking were unchanged and we did not ask for any changes to be made subsequently. Nearer the time we were due to go I contacted the owner to check the price remained the same as was agreed upon the previous year. In this communication I said I'd be happy to pay more despite the owner not stating any price change when we rebooked. He did not respond to this. The owner cancelled less than three weeks before we were due to arrive with no warning, explanation or apology. This gave us no time to book anything else. This would have been the last holiday with my husband's parents as his dad passed away at the end of last year. We were absolutely devestated. I would not recommend anyone booking this.

Garragh Mhor has that wonderful remote Island feel, whilst being easily accessible to Oban (Gateway to the Isles) and the enigmatic Kintyre Peninsula. On the edge of the historic slate mining village of Ellenabeich - Garragh Mhor is within a 5-minute walk of the village with its museum, booking office for Seafari Adventures and the friendly local pub - The Oyster Bar, where all kinds of meals are on the menu. A 3-minute open boat ferry crossing takes you to the tiny car-free Easdale Island. Explore the whole island in half an hour, (home to the World Stone Skimming Championships held on the last weekend of September every year). Enjoy the folk museum, photogenic village and maybe get yourself a local beer, or wee dram alongside home cooked food at The Puffer Bar, Restaurant and Tea rooms. Owners - Nutritionist, Jan and Blacksmith, Daz love to welcome guests to their home at Garragh Mhor. Providing vegetarian Bed and Breakfast options, a warm welcome and cosy feel. Numerous 'Sit-ooties' offer guests various tranquil and seculded places to sit of an evening and to appreicate the stunning night's skies, wildlife and nature and the peace that is Easdale.
Wonderfully warm reception, outstanding hosts, beautiful rooms and delicious breakfasts in a stunning location, This is a great place to hold a retreat and Jan and Daz could not have been more helpful both in sharing information about the localities amenities and places of interest and in catering for all our requirements. Friendly caring people, perfect location for a group retreat.

Recently renovated historic inn located at the foot of the bridge over the Atlantic.
Stopped off en route to easdale from Oban. Great setting by the bridge. We sat outside with the dog, loads of space, good food, we both had burgers which were very tasty. Chips fab. Will definitely return.
