Welcome to Mansefield House Bed and Breakfast, a luxurious Bed and Breakfast with a warm family atmosphere. Located in the fishing town of Macduff on the North East Coast of Scotland. A wealth of leisure and sporting pursuits can be found in the area, along with some of the most stunning coastline and historical landmarks to visit. Luxury combined with spacious accommodation is the best way to describe this family run Bed and Breakfast. Mansefield House is over 200 years old and was originally the Manse House, recently lovingly refurbished by the Chinchen family, one of whom has spent the last 17 years working in 5 star boutique hotels around the world. This can be seen by many of the touches provided in the house. At Mansefield House we specialise in helping make your holiday stay memorable and personal. Unlike many luxury properties we welcome children and pride ourselves on our child friendly atmosphere which is helped by the substantial garden and play area. This is made much use of by our own grandchildren.
We stayed for one night in June, the room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was good and we would stay again. We were too late for dinner but would try this next time as menu advertised was great value.

In Macduff visiting friends and stayed here for 1 night. Evening meal was excellent (great food, lots of it), good atmosphere in the bar (locals friendly - always a bonus). Room clean and bed comfortable, had a great night's sleep which set me up for the freshly cooked breakfast this morning. A great stay - will definitely return.

Lovely B&B. Great hosts and the room was lovely and big. The breakfast was huge and really nice. Even the pets greeted you with a big welcome. I usually stay in corporate hotels but this place has put my faith back into b&b

We disagree with some of the other reviews who said it was old fashioned. The decor was part of its charm! Breakfast was great, and Monica was a wonderful hostess. We have been to 3 B&Bs on this trip and this is our favorite so far.

Not a good hotel at all and is now a B&B for homeless whare they treat all the homeless like cage animals! a typical monthly council homeless bill from the waterfront hotel costs from what iv heard is about £700 per month. The only way a homeless person can aford to even be homeless is to have housing benafit which can be a nightmare so iv heard from plenty of homeless people that have stayed there through no choice of their own.
