A wonderful spot to stretch your legs on the drive to the Coorong. The volunteers have done a wonderful job over 30 years planting native species like Hakea, grevillea, melaleuca, kangaroo paw, gum trees, native grasses etc.

I hadn't been to this hotel for several years. I went there for lunch over the weekend with a friend. The staff were great, the food was delicious. I had the fish and chips, the batter was crisp and the fish was very fresh. Mu friend had the prawns and she said they were excellent too. Will most definitely be back there for a meal, sooner rather than later. Well done Welly hotel.

The Wellington Courthouse and Police Station Museum was first occupied in 1864 and was the site of the first ferry crossing of the mighty Murray River. This heritage National Trust building, now privately owned, has lots of artifacts housed there, a licensed café / restaurant on site, 6 Deluxe Room B&B accommodation, and an added upstairs area for small functions. Great location riverside. Plenty of parking, great food, with super friendly caretakers.

Character filled Accommodation with History way back to the first Settlers on the Lower reaches of the Murray. Tastefully Restored Courthouse with Large Comfortable Feature rooms all with seperate private locked Bathrooms in Hallway that have modern facilities. Building full of History with museum and Coffee Restaurant which is part of the Courthouse all right on the Murray River where the Car Ferry crosses at Wellington. Has lovely shared kitchen with full facilities and laundry. Only few Rooms so still nice and quiet. Lovely seating Patio with table and chairs looking over River. 2 mins walk to Fabulous old 'Welly' Pub with excellent food. Peaceful quiet location. Really lovely. P.S Don't forget to ask to see the museum part of The Wellinton Courthouse which contains many of the original period furnishings and collections of the Building and surrounds including the Court room and Cells etc. Just amazing.
