Millennium Esplanade and Tannum Sands Beach

Reviewed By holidayjan

Congratulations to the local Council for the presentation of this beautiful parkland. This is our second visit to Tannum Sands from Brisbane over the last couple of years and the well kept park is so beautifully kept. Everything is immaculate and this may sound weird but there is good quality toilet paper instead of that cheap rubbish other councils around the country use. Disappointed that dogs are not allowed but as we are not locals we don’t have a say which is fair enough. We walked a few kilometres back and forwards for exercise and loved it.

Wild Cattle Island National Park

Reviewed By Jim4680 - Gladstone, Australia

There is vehicular access to Wild Cattle Island, but it's restricted to residents. The easiest access otherwise is on foot. Fishing is great on the seaward side. If you feel adventurous, try cycling on the wet sand. There are holiday homes on the Southern part of the island.

Lovely gallery. Lots of beautiful pieces. Friendly artists. So close to the beach you can hear the ocean.
