Historic Susanville-Westwood rail bed from the lumber town glory days, now scenic riverside trail with tunnels and views. Uphill to the west, and downhill to the east (Susanvillle side.)
A favorite of folks in town for a couple of days on business to unwind in early evening.

Winter has beautiful snow covered mountains everywhere you look. Spring brings the most amazing array of flowers blooming, and gentle breezes. Summer has the creek flowing, and blue skies with a comfortable temperature. Fall?? Simply amazing colors of leaves and evergreens.
A great place for a picnic, a game of catch, or just to sit and admire nature showing off!

This is a small casino in Susanville. They have a hotel adjacent to the casino. They have most of the standard gambling games you would expect, just on a much smaller scale then other casinos. Their fuel prices have a tendency to be less then...MoreThanks for the review. We try to stay current with the new and exciting games. Hope you visit us again soon.

Craft Beers and good Pub Food.
I went to the casino restaurant during the breweries opening week early this year and ordered their IPA. It was the darkest IPA I've ever seen and sooo bitter. One drink of it was all I needed to send it back with the waiter. The waiter said the guy brewing was new at it. If you like trying out new breweries, I would recommend waiting awhile while he figures out how to make a desent batch. They get two points because the service is already great there.

Bishop, California has a hidden mystery if you are just passing through. Canals all over the city and outling from the city, paths that are ideal for strollers, family, dogs or alone that go for miles. If you are traveling in Bishop and want a break from the car ride with some exercise ask the locals to direct you. Then head to Keough hot springs for a swim before begin your travels again.
