This is a very interesting and unusual park. It is located on the north side of Storm Lake over looking the lake. It has various trees that reflect important events in our history ie. a tree from George Washington's groove and a tree from seeds that were sent to the moon and back

I was here to meet some friends. The bartender and owner is friendly. The bar itself has several tables at which to sit and converse with friends as well as seats along the bar, a small area in which to dance, game machines at which to gamble/play, and free popcorn to which you can help yourself. It's not fancy, by any means, but people there seem friendly. This establishment is located right uptown, across from the movie theater.

I love a good dive bar. They don't even have Makers! lots of old beer lights, mirrors, signs, everything....locals. very local. I did not try the food.

Awaysis Park is a nice little playground with an ample supply of things for kids and adults to do. The public beach was reasonably clean and didn't feel too crowded even on a fairly hot summer day. Parking was ample and felt safe.
