Visited Grant Park and enjoyed wandering down trails at Seven Bridges through the forrest. The park has no fees, is dog friendly and offers a full day of fun adventures for the whole family... enjoy a spa sensation while listening to the trickling water gently falling over the rocks along the creek, photograph the wildflowers and take in the song bird's happy tunes. We enjoyed hiking the stone bridges that crossed over ravines and pretty brooks. The tree lined canopy provided shade on many of the paths. Wade in the cool streams and try to balance on the big rocks as you cross the creek. Cool off at the beach on the Lake Michigan shoreline. Be sure to wear comfy walking shoes also maybe water shoes, and a towel if you plan to get wet.(sun screen too) Pack a picnic lunch as there is plenty of picnic areas and green space. A camera is a must to capture all the beauty! Be careful if visiting after a heavy rainfall as some of the stone trails may be slippery and the non paved trails can get muddy.
