This is a large open / wooded area of rolling hills and streams. Very winding one-way road goes through the area. There are elk and bison to be seen. Other animals too if you take your time and look around. You pretty much have to see some of the preserve in order to visit the Lehigh Valley Zoo. As you leave the Zoo area, you almost have to drive across a nice low water crossing of Jordan Creek to exit the area. Just take your time and enjoy.

This is bridge number 6 on the Covered Bridges of the Lehigh Valley tour. If you search online you can find and then download or print driving instructions to and information about all seven bridges. We did the entire tour, getting out to explore and photograph all of the bridges, and it took a couple hours. This bridge is surrounded by the Trexler-Lehigh County Game Preserve. It's a beautiful bridge in a beautiful area.

Lehigh Valley Zoo is home to approximately 300 animal ambassadors representing 104 species, 36 of which are classified as endangered, threatened, or species of concern.
We loved our evening at the Lehigh Valley Zoo. Gorgeous light displays, some choreographed to music and all of your favorite Christmas characters. You could warm up at the firepits and enjoy a hot chocolate along with toasting marshmallows. Perfect family outing. It must take months for them to create.
