The wife started in Richmond and rode our bikes to Armada had a good dinner at Chapp's and rode back. It is a seven mile trip so its a nice distance to get plenty of exercise but not so far that it is exhausting. The trail is black top and so is very smooth. We are looking forward to continue on to Romeo next.

A collection of cars from 1800's to 1960's along with automated musical instruments and a Wurlitzer Theater Organ. We charge no entry fee but we do have a donation box at our entry door. We are currently open every Tuesday from 1:00-4:00 and the first Saturday of the month from 11:00-4:00. Please check our website or Stahls Automotive Foundation on Facebook for any changes in hours.
It's FREE. Just sat. early afternoon. Not only cars but, juke boxes and Huge Church Organs. The staff, all volunteers, are fantastic. They tell you the story of each car. Two organs are played by someone from the volunteers. There are some old racers that the kids can sit in and pretend they are racing. Fun place.

Enjoy going to Adair Bar for their Sunday fried chicken dinners. Meal comes with cole slaw (no salads), mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, half a friend chicken. Service could be better. It drives me crazy to see a waiter or waitress come to the table WITHOUT a smile. They are employed to serve the customer with a smile and NOT expect the customer to have all the answers. Often at Adair you are afraid to ask a question since you will get you head bit off. For their popular fish fries, go to The Raft about 8 miles south for the best perch in the area.

I drove to Walter and Mary Burke Park as a day trip - in the winter. Although New Baltimore and Lake St. Clair gets most of its traffic in the summer, I loved how quiet the lake and park were on a winter evening. It's a great place to walk around and watch the sunset, year round. The Christmas decorations put up in New Baltimore also are lovely and helped give a warm and joyful feel to the park on a cold day.

We went to this US course about 30 minutes from the Bluewater Bridge. Course was challenging but very fair. Greens were slow but true. The elevations were varied and general conditioning was acceptable. Great value at $29 with cart and Canadian money taken at par. Lunch for 3 with drinks was $20.
