Escape Rooms Portland Michigan is a type of intellectual adventure game in which people are placed in a uniquely themed room with other participants and have to use several elements of the room to solve a series of puzzles, find clues, and escape the room or complete the mission within a set time limit of 60 minutes.
My family went to the escape rooms for my birthday. As you sign up for their rooms, they ask if there is anything to make the staff aware of, and I explained that two family members have medical issues that they might want to know about; less than 10 minutes later, they responded and made it a private game due to the issues. They also said they would accommodate as best they can. We arrived and they accommodated very well! They had full lights on and even put in 2 extra chairs (which came in handy). This place is wonderful and actually read the staff information. Unfortunately, my family and I didn't escape in time, but had a great time! I can't wait to go back and try their new room!

A State of Michigan Historical Marker tells the story of the Westphalia Settlement which is now Westphalia, Michigan. The other side of the marker gives the history of St. Mary's Parish. The first German Catholic church in central Michigan. Worth stopping to read the marker and enjoy a beautiful little town.

Recently rode our bike on this easy level trail. Follows the Grand River and the Looking Glass River. Beautiful trail, well maintained. To get there get off I 94 at the Kent St. Exit drive towards town turn left on Grand a River Ave, cross the bridge turn right on Water St. top Bogue Flats Rec Area. There are posted maps along the trail so that you won't get lost.
Wagon wheel Restuarant a few miles west of town on Grand a river Ave serves great wood fired pizzas. Olivera's ( very popular in Ionia) is opening soon on Grand River Ave. if it's nice outside eat at Fabianos on the deck for a meal.

Joshua Simmons served several years fighting for what is now the United States. He was a Revolutionary soldier and moved to Michigan to join his youngest son. He died in Eagle and is buried on what was his son's property and is now the North Eagle Cemetery. I am pleased his grave is preserved and noted for future generations.
