The old stone mill of Peñalba, located at the foot of the brook Silencio, is a small historical corner, virgin beauty, numerous falls of water and absolute calm.

The interior of this church can only be accessed with a guided tour (for a fee). We were glad that we opted for the tour, which is also accompanied by a video about the village. It was fascinating to observe a building with strong Moorish motifs so far north, and to learn about the reasons for this.
