We are travel agency which organize active toursim packages in mountain area of Croatia. Located between two national parks (Plitvice lakes and Northern Velebit) we are offering great kayak, bike and offroad tours to discover area, people and history of this part of Croatia. We also provide rent a bike service with maps and instructions for over the 200 km of bike trails in the area. Easy, moderate or challanging route levels are available.

Awesome experience kayaking along the river Gacka. The water is so clear and clean that you can drink it. Tonnes of wildlife to be seen enroute and binoculars provided. Denis picked us up from our apartment and couldn't have been more helpful getting us on the water hats, dry bags included! The recommendation to eat lunch at the Bumerang restaurant was very much appreciated. Thanks very much hope to be back in the future.

The sanctuary is set in a fairly remote location and surrounded by stunning scenery, we drove ourselves there in a hire car from the coast without any difficulty, although there are clearly coach trips. The sanctuary is a little ramshackled with a small number of rescued bears in open wooded enclosures, seeing them is pot luck as they aren't trained, we were lucky and saw several. They seem well treated and there is a real sense of it being conservation led despite being an attraction. The "owner" and volunteers are very knowledgeable and will explain in a number of languages. There is no charge for the visit but I would encourage you to leave a few Euro to support this worthwhile cause.

We were kindly welcomed at the hosts home (which is the starting point) with coffee and plum liqueur. Even without reservation it was no problem to join the kayak tour.
