This is an outdoor range like no other. The atmosphere here is much more friendly and fun than any other range I’ve visited. It’s a perfect place people of all experience levels. They have fun rental guns, including full autos and a 50BMG! They also offer private and group lessons, carry classes and regular matches that are very addictive, even for beginners. This is a must for anyone living nearby of visitors to surrounding destinations. The range is located inside Windrock Park which offers cabin rentals, camping and off road vehicle rentals. It’s a great place to spend a few hours or a few days.

We absolutely love Windrock! We moved from Florida to Tennessee in June. We heard a lot about this park from people that live near us so we went and traded in my street bike for an atv. We went and bought year passes and went riding for 2 days straight and it was amazing. The majority of riders are in sxs’s or jeeps. We went a week later and bought a sxs then a second to accommodate the whole family and because we honestly spend every waking minute we aren’t working here. We hit all the must see things first like the train and brushy mountain which has amazing food and is a nice easy ride. We have now started seeking out new trails and waterfalls. We tried trail 16 Sunday and rolled a sxs on it but it is marked as a difficult trail so we expected a challenge and it delivered. In response to the Jeep poster that said all the trails are easy and are a waste of time that’s ridiculous. The trails are marked accordingly on the map and are pretty accurate. The difficult trails are not difficult the whole trail, they mark the bad parts with a black square on the map and when you come up to the black square section on the trail there’s no doubt you know your at a bad part lol. We rolled at a black square section. The park really has something for everyone and the staff have all been friendly and helpful. 90% of the riders there are courteous and friendly. Ironically enough all the rude riders we’ve come across have been jeeps ???? Security will check you for passes so make sure you stop in the general store and grab them and anything else you need. Everything is very reasonably priced. They check your coolers if you bring them also. Doesn’t bother us as it keeps the trails safer for everyone when you don’t have trashed people flying around carelessly. Check it out, it’s worth every penny we’ve spent!

We just returned home from a 6 day vacation to Windrock...and it was awesome. We were no where close to being ready to go, and are already planning our next trip back. We traveled from Louisiana with 6 adults and 3 kids (12,11,8), with 2 RZR 1000's, 1 RZR 800S, 1 Honda Pioneer, and 1 Honda 4-wheeler in tow. Accommodations - Six of us stayed in Windrock Campground Cabin 575, and the other 3 stayed in their camper in the campground. The cabin was perfect! There was plenty of space for us and definitely could have fit a couple more people. Also, the parking lot for the cabin was massive. Plenty of room for vehicles, trailers, and machines. The cabin was extremely clean and well stocked. The front porch was nice in the mornings with a cup of coffee, watching everyone making their way to the trails. The back porch was even better in the evenings after a long day on the mountain for grilling and kicking back. It was a perfect location to the trail-head. We will definitely be back to enjoy this cabin Now The Trails!!! - Windrock has the perfect combination of easy riding trails, all the way to super advanced trails. Rocks, Hills, climbs, mud, you name it, windrock has it. AND THEY ARE SO CLEAN!!! We have traveled to numerous other riding properties across the U.S. and Windrock is, by far, our new favorite riding destination. The trails are mostly well marked, especially in comparison to other places. We found a lot of awesome landmarks (slick rock, the old train, windmills, etc) and hope to return soon to discover even more. We put almost 400 miles on our machines and didn't even come close to seeing half the property. Everyone we encountered on the trails were like-minded, friendly, helpful, and out looking for fun. The General Store, located at the trailhead, was well stocked with basic stuff (permits, helmets/riding gear, snacks, fuel, t-shirts etc)
