Nyeri is the green heart of Kenya. The busy town is the centre of one of the most fertile regions of the world and surrounded by the majestic mountain ranges of the Aberdares and Mt Kenya. If you want to see unlimited rhinos, this is the place. There are also other animals such as lions, leopards, hyenas, and a lot of herbivores. Worth to visit for a day trip!

It was an afternoon drive to Chania Falls. I encountered many buffalo, quail birds, bongos, different species of monkeys and antelopes. Chania Falls within the park was breathtakingly refreshing. I met a group of families from the falls with young kids as old as 2yrs going up and down the falls meaning it is safe and exciting to kids too. On our way back, that is when we met hyenas lying on the road waiting for the darkness to set in in order to disturb the peace in the park. This is a lovely place one should plan to visit.
