Built in 1818 as his country estate, Richard J Uniacke was an abolitionist, lawyer, politician, member of the Nova Scotia House of Assembly and Attorney General of Nova Scotia. There is much to see on this Estate and hear the history of this era of a promenade family in Nova Scotia. The grounds are lush with flowers and foliage around a lake with walking trails. Always a pleasure to take this tour into the 1800's .
