Pacific Beach State Park

Pacific Beach State Park is actually a campground right on the beach were the Joe Creek meets Pacific. We stayed here two nights. They have showers with hot water but you have to get tokens to use them. It is not expensive but one time the machine was broken and it was a big inconvenience for us. But the view from the campground is breathtaking. We stay at spot 20 and it was right on the beach ( at least it felt like right at the beach because there was no one else between us and the Pacific .

Went to Pacific Beach for the chocolate festival and came across this wonderful art gallery. The driftwood sculptures are some of the best I have seen. The artist Stephen was very friendly and informative. Each piece expresses his creativity. His wife’s art was also amazing...MoreCarolyn, Thank you for the wonderful compliment for Stephen's artwork! I swear he's blushing ;) Hopefully you'll come back to the beach before next year's chocolate festival. The weather is much friendlier during the summer than in February. Thank you also for the review!
