Played the Wilderness Club for my second time and was just as impressed as the first time. Beautifully maintained course just outside of Eureka, Montana. Nick Faldo design. Lovely setting with big ponderosa pines and fir trees. Several ponds and just a very peaceful setting.

This course is fairly priced, as I remember from the first time I played if. This time I had a complementary round so the price was even better.

Take a power cart, its a long way between holes especially on the back nine and its really hot in the summer in the afternoon.

Very important to pick the proper set of tees to play from. The course is hard enough without adding distance that you don't have. I played the gold tees and found out I should have played the silver tees. I will next time. The greens are big, undulating and fast.

Very nice clubhouse and driving range.

Highly recommend this course and I will be back.

Good burgers - interesting place but large chairs make it very crowded. Can be hit or miss depending on who's cooking.

Played here on a Tuesday afternoon. Greeting superb, course in top notch condition and pace of play excellent. Very much a "hit it straight course" with challenging drives and approaches.

This has to be one of the best courses in the country for $61 (includes cart)

Highly recommended.

Dog Sled Adventures

Reviewed By MLMRocksTravel - Montana

What an amazing adventure! I recommend this for absolutely everyone!
We just moved to Montana from Kansas City, and our 13 year old is not a fan of Montana. We needed to find something special for this year...and my boss recommended the Dog Sled Adventures (which she loved a couple of years ago).
This was fabulous, fantastic, amazing, and perfect.
We were prepared with our head/face warmers, snow goggles and thermal gloves. The sleds seat two, so my husband and son rode together, and I had my own sled.

10 dogs on mine, 12 on theirs. Another couple was in the third sled. We sat in warm sleeping bags on cushioned seats and were covered with elk fur. The only time I was cold was when I took off my gloves to take photos.

AJ was my driver, and he was great. Friendly and really loved those dogs. It was a very smooth and peaceful ride. As a person who is not outdoorsy at all....I never would have had the chance to experience the back country.

The dogs were so well cared for, and the working dogs got a bowl of soup at the end. Jeff owns 125 dogs, and 30 of them are retired. They are all friendly and get excited about being chosen to "work" that day. Each dog only goes on one ride a day.

Returning from this spectacular ride, hot chocolate and warm cookies are waiting in the comfortable lodge.

Worth every single penny. Worth the 4 hour drive and overnight stay in Kalispell. A memory my son will always remember.
