Hollywood beckons to tourists who long for a brush with Tinseltown glamor. Tour movie studios, slip your hands into the famous prints at the TCL Chinese Theatre, or indulge in a celeb sighting at one of LA’s white-hot nightspots. Spot your favorite star while shopping at The Grove, or forget all about the famous eye candy as you take in the iconic artwork at The Getty Center. For a different type of star-gazing, peek through the telescopes at the Griffith Observatory.

We're still in the C19 pandemic and luckily they have a large outdoor patio area that's partially covered so we don't burn from the sun. We were riding our bicycles along the LA River and pulled over to enjoy a beer. It was Easter Sunday and we were glad they were open and we didn't have to wait to be seated. The beer is a bit pricey but it sure delivers a punch if you order an IPA.

Paddle the emerging Los Angeles River with locals whose backyard is the unique Frogtown neighborhood. Every of our tours includes bikes, river lore, and a downstream paddle that is fun, challenging and resplendent with wildlife. This stretch of the river is by far the best of LA river kayaking and also home to an emerging river culture of restaurants, coffee shops and art. New to paddling? We have time-tuned techniques to teach you fast. By the end of your 3 hour tour, you will be an accomplished urban kayaker.

Although this river flows through the heart of one of America's busiest metropolitan areas, a large number of rare wildlife species still make their home here.
We offer kayak rentals, education and assistance for those wanting to venture on the LA River near downtown LA.
