Dilbeek (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈdɪlbeːk]) is a municipality in the province of Flemish Brabant, in Flanders, one of the three regions of Belgium. The municipality comprises the villages of Dilbeek proper, Groot-Bijgaarden, Itterbeek (with Sint-Anna-Pede), Schepdaal (with Sint-Gertrudis-Pede), Sint-Martens-Bodegem, and Sint-Ulriks-Kapelle. Dilbeek is located just outside the Brussels-Capital Region, in the Pajottenland, hence the local name Poort van het Pajottenland (Gate to the Pajottenland). Even though Dilbeek is located in the Dutch language area of Belgium, there is a French-speaking minority represented by 4 members (5 in 2000) on the 33-seat local council. It is a mostly residential community with largely preserved rural areas and some industrial zones.

This place was a huge deception for me and my partner. This for several reasons.
To start with, note that the equipment starts to get slightly old. It is not a state of the art equipment anymore. When you arrive, I may say that the welcome is not more friendly than that... Quite cold welcome to be honest. The lockers are men and women together. Which is ok. But again, they look very 'not welcoming'. Terrible feeling compared to many other places that want to be for relaxation.
As someone else states, you need to be aware that it is "forbidden to wear a swimsuit" EVERYWHERE. No only in the sauna with a towel but also in the different swimming pools. Which is a bit awkward (no problem for being without it in the sauna though).
Also note that it is not allowed to have your own bottle of water (after a sauna for instance) but you have to buy it there.
And for many other reasons, it is not a "MUST VISIT" place but just a below the average spa. It is easy to park.

This is one of the landmarks of Dilbeek, a commune of 40,000 people just outside Brussels. It comprizes a library, cafetaria, several conference rooms and of course a mid-size theater for local and national performers. However this is a very functional building, one cannot say it is a nice building because it's more like a concrete construction.
The building is surrounded by a parking lot and skate park and could be starting point for a walk in the neighborhood. One should also note the sign at the top of the building stating “Dilbeek, waar Vlamingen thuis zijn”, emphasizing the Flemish and tolerant character of Dilbeek and Flanders.

This authentic and well preserved heritage site is unique in its sort. For the moment a rare view of WWI transport can be seen. For the moment only guided visits by appointment.
