Shane and Daniel are true professionals with a love and passion for the outdoors. You will not find a better outfitter for your next float trip, bow hunt or anything outdoors. After one float trip/kayak rental from these guys I was hooked. This is Central Kentucky's must stop for your next outdoor adventure!!

The Visitor Center is located near the dam at the Corps office. Brochures and area information are available at the Visitor Center, as well as an interactive exhibit area where the public can view and learn about the local wildlife and water safety. An overlook area where people can get a great view and take photos of the lake and dam is also found near the Visitor Center. The Atkinson-Griffin Civil War Log Cabin is also located here; free tours of the cabin can be taken daily.
Most people have never heard of Campbellsville, Ky. I am fortunate enough to have lived there for most of my life. I have been in and around the Green River Lake State Park for years, but my family has a nice Father's Day picnic there each year. It really is a beautiful, relaxing place. Be sure and get out on the lake if you can, you get such a new perspective from the water.

This is a 3 mile driving tour of Tebbs Bend Battlefield. Maps are available at tourism office in Campbellsville or at Green River Lake Park visitor center. The first stop is on Tebbs Bend Rd, there are 13 stops that are marked with interpretive signs. The road is paved, narrow and goes through beautiful farmland past currently occupied homes. The Green River Bridge is picturesque. The battle took place on July 4,1863 and was between members of the 25th Michigan Volunteer Infantry under Col. Orlando Moore and Confederate Calvary troops under Gen. John Morgan. Be sure to stop at the Confederate Cemetary (stop 11) and visit the Atkinson-Griffin house museum which was used as a Confederate hospital. The house is actually located in Green River Lake park where it was relocated in 1979. You can get a key to the house at the Green River Lake visitor center and walk to the house. We enjoyed this historic drive.

The 1840 Atkinson-Griffin Log House served as a Confederate hospital after the Battle of Tebbs Bend in 1863. Visitors can view photographs and Civil War memorabilia. The blood stains of soldiers still remain in the floor of an upstairs bedroom. The Atkinson-Griffin House can be viewed at the US Army Corp of Engineers Visitors Center at Green River Lake.
The cabin is a great Civil War story in Central Kentucky. The drive to get to the cabin is fun to see as well. There are blood stains on the floor upstairs from the battle.

The Green River Stables is a wonderful venue for a wedding! My great niece was married here Sept 10 2016. The event was planned for outside but weather moved us indoors. The room used for the ceremony is a rustic room , the decor suits that theme with wood tables some that looked antique. The owners are super nice and helped in every way possible. They even provided a RV for our bride to get ready in. The Stables are close to Green River State Park , a beautiful area for weddings or for a quiet family stay. If you are looking for a outdoor wedding site with a close reception area, this is your spot. If I could give more than 5 stars I would, they deserve it.
