You need a guide who will help you find the many birds you will see as you ride along in a small boat. We saw beautiful Macaws, Toucans, monkeys, tiny frogs, river dolphin, and the Stinky Turkey bird. We learned from our guide about the relationship between plants and animals while enjoying the Amazon's biodiversity.

We decided to take a 2 day tour which gave us the oportunity to get to know this educational/ecoTourism project in tge jasuni area named llikchary institute led by local youths and take a jungle tour with knowledgeable local guides (also from the llikchary institute) at the same time.
Forest walks; monkey, cayman and birdwatching; learn about flora and fauna: we had it all.
And by taking the tour with this project which just started some months ago, we could contribute to this project.
Everybody at the project was very friendly and enthusiastic about the project.
We are glad we could support this local initiative to empower local youths.
