Located in the Laurel Highland's, the seat of the whiskey rebellion, our distillery was built from the ground up to instill perfection in our products. Our products have a distinct flavor that differentiates us from the competition. Once you taste Ridge Runner, you will never forget it.

This is a completely different experience from Fallingwater, but no less spectacular. I would not say that this is actually a typical Usonian home built for the "masses" since, in this case, it cost about 10x as much to build as the comfortable suburban house where I grew up, which was of equivalent size and built at approximately the same time. The design balances solid practicality with creative features in wood and stone. I like how the house was designed to be integral to the site rather than designed and then just plopped on the site. After the tour, you can walk around the grounds to view the extensive collection of sculpture (most of which left me scratching my head but, oh well, the woods were lovely), and it is a pleasant walk back down the hill to the visitor center/gift shop/cafe. Access to the house is via winding country roads, so leave yourself plenty of time to get there.

Fayette Springs Farm was a suitable place for the Klays’ venture as the farm had a long history of entertaining and welcoming guests. At the turn of the century, the farm was owned by U.S. Senator William E. Crow who opened his mountain estate to many visitors including President Harding and Black Jack Pershing. Today, the winery offers guests entertaining special events, informative and educational tours, ideal venues for private events, complimentary wine tasting, and shopping in two locations. An active partner in the community, the winery also hosts annual benefits for Fayette Friends of Animals and other non-profit organizations. Stop in and sample our award-winning wine made from the 18 acres of grapes we grow on the ridges of Chalk Hill Pa. 100% Farm to Bottle!
I love this winery. Went for tasting and bought a bottle of Blanc De Lafayette. It’s my favorite. Must stop when in the Laurel Highlands!
