An innovative artisan food company that lets visitors look behind the scenes of a family business and finishes with a tutored sea salt tasting. Our one-of-a-kind tour is recommended for anyone interested in salt’s place in our history, culture, food and in what makes Halen Môn Sea Salt a world-famous seasoning. The contemporary building sits well in the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and houses a contemporary gift shop too, full of wares from near and far (you don't need to book a tour to visit the shop.) We also have an outdoor cafe - Tide/ Llanw - which always has cover from the elements and plenty of warming options. Having break in Angelsey and looked for something to entertain our 2 year old grandson. Found reviews of Foel Farm on tripadvisor and thought we would give it a go. It was a great decision the Farm was stocked with well cared for animals, we could feed them and especially enjoyed the rabbit barn. Tractor and quad trailer rides were also excellent. The staff were great and the CoVid regs were very well implemented. There were loads of wash stations with low level sinks for toddlers. If it wasn’t 3 hours away from home we would be regulars. Had lunch in cafe that was nice too.....really enjoyed thanks Foel Farm

I can't remember how we stumbled upon this place, but I'm glad we did! It was really interesting, in a lovely setting with loads of different things to do. (Aquarium, mini golf, playground, cafe, gift shop etc) Staff were lovely, especially the young lady that served us when our youngling wanted a pearl... she talked us through the whole process, explained what type of pearl we had, and it's value. She gave us a certificate of authenticity, our youngling loved it! We finished off with a drink and cake in the cafe, and a quick go with the remote controlled boats! We all really enjoyed it, and may go back in a few days, as the ticket we brought (family) allows us to go back free of charge within a week... bonus!!
