This wonderful college has great gothic architecture, and 135 acres of beautiful grounds. We enjoyed the.Labyrinth, Sunken and Community Gardens and were amazed by the 3,000 trees. There are State Champions which are tress with the greatest combinations of height, average crown spread, and trunk circumference. State champions here are a copper beech, a ginkgo, sourwood, a.corktree, M. Cherry, Weeping Hemlock.. and Scotch Elm.

Go often to regular movies as well as the special events, like opera, old classics, kids. My husband and I joined years ago happily & have yet to attend the well reviewed lectures. Someday! Half the theaters are new with stadium seats and sound. The remaining 2 theaters are old school for the nostalgia feel. Beautiful lobby with a coffee pastry shop allows a place to hang pre or post movie with friends.
