The California Route 66 Museum is an Interactive museum with over 4500 Sq. Ft. of floor space and photo opportunities for the visitors to share memories in such settings as a 50’s diner, our VW Love Bus complete with hippy wigs and sunglasses for that perfect shot. You can jump up onto the 1917 Model T Ford and any one of our docents would be glad to take a picture of you and your party. We have the first Santa Monica “End of the Trails” booth that is becoming quite popular with visitors. And for those with a good sense of humor, we have an “Outhouse” built just for that photo. You will find our staff to be very friendly and informative about the road and many roadside attractions. We also have a good deal of Free handouts having to do with Route 66. A library and gift shop full of Route 66 Merchandise with DVD’s and books about the road.
In the heart of downtown Victorville on D Street (California Hwy 18) the California Route 66 Museum, here in Victorville rates right up there with other Route 66 Museums we've visited along the former Route 66 highway. The museum is great. The staff are great. Parking was easy.

Some 1,500 species of watchable wildlife call this lush stretch of habitat along the Mojave River home, making it a magnet for bird-watchers, horseback riders and campers. The park’s two lakes not only attract migratory birds but also make it a popular fishing spot. You can bring your own mount or rent horses and ponies from the on-site stables.Mojave Narrows’ flat, open terrain includes pastures surrounded by cottonwood and willow trees. The park, located in the Victor Valley area, boasts lots of activities for visitors. Facilities include group and RV campsites ( some with lake views), a playground, waterpark, picnic shelters and hiking trails. A low ropes course is also planned.

The park has been updated and added a lot more games and rides. I was really impressed with the new arcade games and the addition of the slide ride that was purchased from the MJ Neverland Ranch. Our kids had a great time and my wife and I really enjoyed the miniature golf. I highly recommend this Scandia for good family fun.
