We have two teenage children and it's getting harder to find things to do which said teenagers will engage with and which we can all do together. Our Segway experience definitely hit the mark and we had a really fun morning! We'd never done it before but the instructors were fantastic - friendly, patient and everything very clearly explained. After some introductory tuition we were soon off around the tracks round the fields. Paula was also lovely, communication in the booking process was good and she offered us flexibility with the time of our booking. Would recommend highly.

Authentic retro attraction that will take you on a trip down memory lane. Beautifully recreated models of Godshill and Shanklin Old Villages as they were in the 1920's and 30's. Passionate about details, the models are true representations of the houses, cottages and pubs you can still see in the 'real world'. 2020 will be our 5th year as an RHS Partner Garden supporting the work of the Royal Horticultural Society. The gardens are packed with conifers and shrubs in the Japanese style of Niwaki, that will make you want to dash home and start gardening... Our customers tell us we inspire them or that they would like to take one of our gardeners home with them! Last admission 30 minutes before closing time. Visited the model village during our motorhome holiday. What a delightful place! From the lady who sold us the tickets to the very end had us beaming with how lovely this place is! The attention to detail is just a sight to behold and there are lots of funny little bits here and there like the dog singing along with the village band and the streaker on the football pitch. Even at the churches you could hear the congregation singing. Just wonderful. It is amazingly well designed and looked after. The gardeners are a credit and the choice of plants is so clever to turn a small manicured sapling into a mighty oak overlooking the village cricket match. £5 entry fee is more than worth it (you can go round again viia a little gate near the entrance) and we couldn’t recommend it more if you are in the area. I am amazed that anyone could find anything negative to say about the place. I defy you not to have a smile on your face as you look around. We had great fun doing the little quiz they give you and spotting the squirrels. All in all a delightful Experience.

I was saying at Sandy Ball, on Sunday I ventured out to see the majestic New Forest and some of its gorgeous animals and bang on the door step of the park I discovered this lovely pub with beautiful horses and donkeys around I was trilled parked at the very appropriate large car park and went in for a quick lunch ordered and very fast the food was on my table beautiful smell large portions and very fresh with a great taste and very reasonable price I really enjoyed it and the young lady who served me wearing a blue spectacle (sorry I didn’t ask her name) was very friendly and polite with a great smile. They also had a good range of the local ale too. I truly enjoyed my experience and will be back. Thank you fighting cocks.
