Outdoor activity centre and charity, BF Adventure offers a wide range of exciting activities including rock climbing, abseiling, watersports, bush craft, zip-lining, archery and a wide range of team building and problem solving games at it's beautiful site near Penryn & Falmouth. The 60-acre site includes 3 water-filled quarries, woodland and heathland and is the ideal environment to try something new, challenge yourself and have a great time. During the school holidays we run our very popular adventure childcare (Holiday Activity Days) for children aged 6 to 13. We also run adventure sessions for friends and families, offering the same activities. Tailor-made programmes are run for companies, schools and private groups such as birthday parties, stag and hen parties, youth groups and clubs. Upon request we can arrange catering, transport, accommodation, photography and a meeting room. All programmes are also available as residentials with the option to book evening activities.
An excellent 3 hours spent with these friendly, safety conscious staff. The whole family enjoyed it. We especially liked the bridge inte first area and the zip line in the second area. But it was also fun to climb round on the rocks. Always felt safe as the equipment and set up was perfect. An absolute must if you go to this area of Cornwall

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU WRITE YOUR REVIEW. The Flicka Foundation is a sanctuary for donkeys. We are NOT an attraction, but a working sanctuary that spends seven days a week rescuing and rehabilitating donkeys from cruelty, neglect and abandonment. We welcome visitors through our gates 'free of charge' to see our work and meet our big family. We have a tea room serving delicious light snacks and home made cakes and a small rustic gift cabin with some donkey merchandise (both help with charity funds), the rest of the centre is dedicated to our rescues enjoying being free, loved and cared for, they are the priority here, their happiness and as much free will as we can give them. If you are looking for lots to do and see Flicka is not the place for you - if you love animals and want to see alot of contented donkeys and ponies living in peace and tranquility please visit they would love to meet you - we would too!! ;-)
Well worth a visit to support the wonderful work of this amazing sanctuary, it has a new parking area, a super cafe serving reasonable priced snacks, a small gift shop, friendly caring volunteer staff and of course the gorgeous donkeys who are the lucky ones to be given a loving home for life. It’s free to enter but all donations are welcome and needed to help care for the donkeys.

We were very fortunate to have wonderful weather which emphasised the beauty of the estate. The bluebells were well on the way. giving a lot of background colour, the rhododendrons were just amazing....the huge bank of them at the back of the house were just stunning! Then the primroses, primulas, snakes head fritillaries.....just exceptional! And then....we were just stunned by the huge mature trees, especially the Spanish Oak. The history was very interesting....it certainly goes back a long way, and it's interesting to see that there are plans for the future. It was lovely to end up with tea and cake on the seat looking down at the ponds. All in all, a great visit. Thank you for all the work that has been put in to restore this wonderful estate.
