One of many parks located on the shores of Canyon Lake.
The walkway across the top of the massive dam offers spectacular views of the lake. Almost a mile long, it’s an easy flat walk which can be enjoyed by old and young alike. There’s also a Park for picnicking, trails down to the lakeshore, and an interpretive kiosk detailing the construction of the dam. There’s no charge to access the dam or park.

The scenery was absolutely amazing! Wine tastings are $20 for 4 wine tastings. I went with a group of girls and Ian was our waiter he was so friendly and attentive. The only thing we wish they had was maybe some small appetizers like a meat/cheese tray to go along with the wines. Overall great experience!

I love walking the dam at Canyon Lake (Overlook Park) is great to visit, it's on my to-do list every time I visit New Braunfels. Unfortunately, it's been closed for over a year now because someone complained (in 2018) that it's not wheelchair accessible. All this time, people have been walking the mile long paved path enjoying it's breathtaking scenery. Pretty much ruined things for the rest of us. Thanks........

Sherene and her team of knowledgeable boat sales and operations personnel were absolutely amazing. The experience truly made our family boat outing memorable. We highly recommend Canyon Lake Marina for your boating needs!!

Canyon Park Campground.
We ave been here before when the water was so low that many of the boat ramps were closed . The water was cold as expected in Mid March but not many people around. We saw maybe 4 boats in the 3 days we were here. Very Clean
