One of the best drives we have been on.. We did not expect much from the small hill station but this beautiful route is just out of the world. The road intertwining through the Shevaroy Hills is lined on both sides with the Silver Oak and white Eucalyptus trees eclipsing the warm sun keep the breeze cool. The distinct view here is that these trees are covered with pepper climbers that make the ambience of these forests very surreal. As we drove around on the winding road, there were many spots where we just could not stop ourselves from taking a break and engulf in the serene environment. The road runs through large coffee plantations making the entire region embrace a lush dark green demeanor unike light green tea plantations.

Adventure Park ( POPPY HILLS )now in the heart of Yercaud providing entertainment for adults and kids..
The place was amazing and provided rides and adventurous activities for both kids and adults as well. Kids could do activities such as the bunjee trampoline, water zorbing and zipline, whereas adults were given the options to enjoy more thrilling activities such as bunjee ejection. The rope courses here are very unique with 2 levels and both change in difficulty levels and each rope course offers 8 different challenges to be completed. Rope courses had guides who were very patient and helped visitors complete the 8 challenges in each rope course.. overall it was an amazing experience.

September 2018 We (a group of 50+ from a company) happened to visit in September. We were told that it had rained heavily a couple of days before our visit. We strongly recommend that you check with locals about the presence of water in the falls. :-) Going with no expectations and knowing that there was as quite climb or a walk down through the road and 200-odd steps for the fun of it was the choice. The walk was through lush-green vegetation flush from recent rains. Not recommended for the weak of knees. Not too much flow to make it dangerous, not too little to make it a trickle, just enough to walk through and get wet. Suffice to say our team had a great time and good photo opportunities. None of us had anticipated this and none had change of clothes, but that didn't inhibit anyone from entering the water in a burst of spontaneity. As the other reviewers say, there is lots to walk, it may be dry - do it it if you are up to it and if there is water.
