What a great museum with a great history! Many familiar items and many new to me. Great example of what a community can accomplish. Then go see the Loop!

Vineyard, Wine Tasting Room and Gift Shop. Join us for wine down Fridays with catered dinner and live entertainment. Dinner served from 5:00 - 7:00, reservations necessary by noon on Friday of the event. Tasting Room open Friday - Sunday 11:00 - 6:00, and Wednesday 3:00-6:00 for happy hour.

In the small community of Tehachapi, this gem of a wine tasting room is only open Fri - Sun. So, we were the first people to stop in on Friday when it opened. We were treated to a delightful visit with the owners/producers and pours from many specially chosen wines with a nice range of whites like a crisp pinot grigio, reds like a tangy tempranillo, delicious sweet treats like the peach wine, and most impressively the estate grown, bottled, and served award-winning Primitivo. We got to try their Primitivo from 3 different years and hear stories about the trials of fighting the birds for enough grapes for a harvest. Enjoyed the people and the wine. They also have a lovely room for events.
