We are always amazed by the selection of cheeses you can get here. They carry different flavors of Cougar Gold cheese made by students at WSU. They readily give samples. We haven’t tried the sandwiches and soups but we plan to.

A beautiful mansion that is currently being restored. Really can't beat the $5 admission price and it is clear the staff loves the mansion and its history. Restoration is currently underway on the ceilings - its kind of like an archeological dig since the restorers are removing 8 - 13 layers of paints to uncover the paintings hidden underneath. And then they are painstakingly restored. The ceilings that have already been restored are beautiful and I admit I was fascinated by being able to see the work underway - those rooms were also open. Beautiful woodwork throughout the house and a nice rose garden outside.
