We passed by this museum and decided to go in during our recent trip. It was extremely interesting with lots to see of interest and a nice little shop where you can buy mementos if you want to. The gardens are nice too. Well worth stopping off for especially if you are interested in local history.

The Floral Hall

We came for breakfast at 9.30 on Sunday morning and were surprised how busy it was! This is a place that is doing a really good job. Lots of choice (veggie breakfast, herbal teas); excellent ingredients (meaty tasty (non veggie!) sausage), very clean and tidy, lots of extras (books, beach stuff, hand-made cards for sale, binoculars to see the ships out at sea). Our first visit but definitely the first of many!

Hornsea Freeport is one of my favourite places to visit. I have been going for over forty years when they sold a large amount of pottery. I bought tons of it and used it for many, many years after which I gave it to a young couple who loved it. I love the clothes shops; they are always a happy bunch of people and very helpful. I love the unique gift shop where I have purchased a great amount of my Fairyland which I love. Pavers are a great shop too. I always buy my winter shoes there. The Works are there too and I'm always in buying for the Grandchildren at very reasonable prices. The staff in there know us now and always happy to see us. I think it's a lovely place to go. There's a cafe, a shop who sells delicious icecream and of course Beach Cove where children have a great time. In fact my Grandsons even after three hours play are very reluctant to leave it and go home.
