First time I've been here - invited by a friend to see a rock band that was playing on a Friday evening. Busy pub, friendly staff and the food was really good. My friend said her fish and chips were the best she'd ever had! The band was great, although could have played more songs everyone knew, but enjoyed it anyway.

Our Aunt Pat likes a good meal, so the wife and I took her to an old favourite restaurant/Pub, I know the fish and chips are great but I can only manage a small portion, so I thought aunt would go half on a big one, she was not having that and the brussels cooked just right and the steak mealt in your mouth, my wife had two helping of the gravey as it was moreish. Almost forgot we tried the salt and pepper shrimps with a sweet chilli sauce, again aunt took over and took the chilli sauce and loved the shrimp. Service was great to the very end as we finnish with a winter eat and mess, shared by us all. On a better note, my wife had her birthday in November and was sent a offer for a nice bottle of prosecco which Liinu sorted out for us, which made my wife very happy. Look out for the Christmas menu as it looks one of the best around.

A family-friendly pub at the heart of the Ancells Farm community. We keep an extensive selection of fine wines and beers including resident and guest real ales, an excellent value menu, traditional Sunday lunches and summer weekend barbeques,and we have a large garden with children's play area and disabled facilities. We showcase the very best in Saturday night live music with the best bands, the best crowd and the best atmosphere anywhere around! There's other entertainment too including a weekly quiz nights,Sky Sports and a pool table.

This is a great party venue for young children - lots of chance to let off steam in the play area to start, then upstairs to eat and a themed bubble disco. Food and drink were provided for adults, while the children played on the soft play, then sit down food was provided for children when they went upstairs to the party room. A lovely cake, party bags and balloons were all provided. Staff at the venue definitely worked as hard as possible to give the best possible service. Really very good!
