Findlay is a city in and the county seat of Hancock County, Ohio, United States. The city metro area is often referred as The Greater Findlay Area. The second-largest city in Northwest Ohio, Findlay lies about 40 miles (64 km) south of Toledo. The population was 41,202 at the 2010 census. It is home to the University of Findlay. Findlay is one of two cities in Hancock County, along with Fostoria.

A broad collection of children's books and the original art used in the illustrations. User friendly. The young readers wanted to stay. The staff were warm, inviting, and very informative.

The museum began with the acquisition of the Hull-Flater House at 422 West Sandusky Street, and first opened to the public in 1971. The house was built in 1881 by Jasper Hull, co-founder of the Findlay Artificial Gas and Light Company, and was one of the grandest homes of the day. Today, the home still serves as the welcoming “front porch” of an expansive development that has grown to nine facilities, including the Little Red Schoolhouse and the new Marathon Energy & Transportation Annex. In addition to an expansive campus, the museum houses more than 70,000 books, photographs, manuscripts and artifacts in its collections. Without the efforts of the Hancock Historical Museum, we would lose many of the stories, buildings, memories and treasures – and the lessons they hold – for future generations.

Really cool museum that's handicap accessible (elevator as well). Took a group of younger Actors there, and they loved it! Great selection/amount of local and national items to peruse. Well worth a stop!

We were first time visitors and came away very impressed. It is nicely laid out with wide aisles and is well lit with friendly helpful staff always nearby for assistance. We will definitely be returning.

Excellent place to sit down and have a meal and drink some beer. Nice atmosphere and always coming out with something new on tap. Check out the monthly specials for new menu additions.
