Fascinating place, very well designed and most informative showing history of Jews in Holland (as well as Elburg) over the centuries. Sad to see how so many Jews were murdered by the Nazis. attached museum is well thought out. Convenient Parking nearly. Quit a lot (but not all) of descriptions are translated into English. Nice little shop to buy things

Here is a permanent exposition about the work of the blacksmith. The fire of the old smithy regularly burns blown by the century pair of bellows to do the work.

Nationaal Orgelmuseum

Several floors in a collection of ancient buildings in the old town of Elburg house this museum devoted (mainly) to organs. Numerous working displays of the principles and practice of organ construction and voicing and presided over by really-enthusiastic staff. As someone else has pointed out, the signage is in Dutch without translation, but that doesn't really pose much of a problem as far as I'm concerned. The curator guiding people when I was there spoke English and when we got stuck with technical terms he readily buttonholed another visitor who was extremely fluent in both languages to discuss the points being inquired about. An excellent museum -- not enormous, but it certainly took us several hours to get round -- and the real enthusiasm on the part of the staff made the visit memorable.
