Built in 1882, Tibbits Opera House features an exquisite, award-winning, French Second Empire exterior. It is among the oldest theatres in Michigan. Rich in history and ambiance, the theatre offers nearly perfect acoustics, an intimate 500-seat setting, and great entertainment year round. Shows vary from professional Summer Theatre, family shows, and an Entertainment Series of professional touring performers to community events, plays, musicals, concerts and variety shows. The building houses a permanent 19th century art collection and a unique community mural of "American Gothic." An art gallery exhibits shows by regional artists. Tours are available by appointment.
We went to the Tibbits Opera House as it was called years ago, what a Beautiful Building and since they have Restored it.....It has brought out the Beauty of the Inside, The Plays are Wonderful there.

I have five kids - four girls: 4, 5, 7, and 8; one boy: 5 - and all of them absolutely adore having a children's museum so close to home. I love this place and we will definitely be visiting again and again over the summer.

Coldwater Antique Mall has over 40 booth filled with true antiques, collectibles, rustic, vintage and lots of furniture. We are located between Coldwater and Quincy just east of I 69 a 1/2 mile past Meijers. Look for the tractors in the front of the mall. While here enjoy our collection of Advertising Clocks.
This is a very nice variety of antiques and collectables. It is neat, clean and well lighted. most everything viewable and there was space to move around. A lot of antique malls are dingy and crowed but this one is well maintained. Lots of tools, clocks, furniture, toys and collectables. Farm implements, wagon wheel, doors, cookie jars, salt and pepper shakers, and much more. Allow at least 2 hours to look around the whole building. Staff were friendly and informative. If like antiques this is a great place to browse.
