Welcome to the Cyclades! Welcome to Andros! here in the northeastern end of the island is a paradise waiting to be discovered ... Kampos Beach Bar Vitali playa del paraíso
Our Favourite beach bar on the island!! (This one is the one on the left that isn’t connected to the taverna above) The staff are super friendly, the food food is amazing (try the club sandwich) and the beach has amazing views and water. There is even some rocks on the left side of the beach which are great fun to jump off and beach of how they are shaped, super safe as well! Going here is a must!!

In July 1979 the Basil and Elise Goulandris Foundation inaugurated the Museum of Contemporary Art in Hora, capital of Andros and birthplace of Basil P. Goulandris. In the two wings of the Museum a part of the Foundation’s collection is exhibited throughout most of the year. Each summer, since 1986, the Foundation has been organising temporary exhibitions of distinguished 20th-century artists in the Museum of Contemporary Art on Andros. The Basil and Elise Goulandris Foundation has built up a significant art collection of important 20th-century Greek and international artists. This collection comprises the core of the Museum of Contemporary Art on Andros. The increasing attendance of the Athenian public and the inhabitants of Andros led to the Museum’s expansion to a new wing, which was completed in 1986. Moreover, the Foundation has made provisions for the construction, equipment and enrichment of a new Museum of Contemporary Art in Athens.
What a beautiful museum! I LOVED this place! I loved the architecture of the building, I loved the collection of art so carefully chosen; and I loved how it had been curated. Great audioguides (free with entrance ticket), and the best coffee and cake we had during our stay in Athens - don't miss the café! The only criticism would be that the items in the souvenir shop were ridiculously expensive, €70 for the Museum catalogue as an example.
