Conquering New York in one visit is impossible. Instead, hit the must-sees – the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty, Central Park, the Metropolitan Museum of Art – and then explore off the beaten path with visits to The Cloisters or one of the city’s libraries. Indulge in the bohemian shops of the West Village or the fine dining of the Upper West Side. The bustling marketplace inside of Grand Central Station gives you a literal taste of the best the city has to offer.

I came here as a last minute birthday treat for myself whilst in New York for a few days. I had booked a late afternoon Swedish massage the day before and was allowed to come in a few hours before my appointment to enjoy the water lounge. I had the most fantastic few hours. Great Jones Spa has such a beautiful subterranean space - the changing rooms and showers are well-stocked with everything you could need. The water lounge seems to absorb people well - I think it was quite busy but I didn't notice as there were lots of chairs and spaces to enjoy. The sauna and steam room were huge and fantastic to use. I think the cold plunge pool was maybe my favourite bit and super refreshing. My massage was also very enjoyable and relaxing. I would very much recommend this place!
