In the splendid natural environment of SHIVASINA our guests can relax, exercise and rejuvenate through a unique range of healing treatments and therapies.
I love this place and I cannot wait to go back. Masseuses are very professionals, my girls love the other services (Facial, etc.). We often go together and have some relaxing time.

Natures Healing Home is a healing center located at a beautiful mountain top of San Fernando city. It is overlooking the city and the ocean. It is serene with Beautiful sunset and fresh air. We offer energy healing (combination of energy healing, reflexology and acupressure)private or group yoga. Lodging is also available.
Nature’s Healing Home is one of those little-known, diamond in the rough kind of places. But a diamond nonetheless. When I booked my time here I was a little unsure about the place. The website has adequate but basic information, and beyond that I couldn’t really get a sense whether or not it would be somewhere I would want to be stuck if I wasn’t into it… especially after having read some of the other reviews. The property is not easily accessible for travelers, nor is it the kind of place where you’ll be coming and going. But luckily, once I realized the uniqueness of where I was, there was really no desire to go anywhere else. More importantly, after spending a lot of time talking to the owner Prescilla, and understanding how hard she’s been working over the last couple of years to get the place fully up and running, I have a better understanding of why past travelers may not have had the experience I did. The most important thing to know is, you’re going to be fed really well here. If you’re looking for a retreat that includes an extremely clean diet, this is it. Prescilla grows 90% of the food she serves, and the variety is pretty staggering. I’m vegetarian (and vegan with a little flexibility, particularly while I travel) and after being in some places where ANY vegetarian food was difficult to find (forget vegan!) this place was heaven. Everything is fresh, organic, creative and delicious and her dedication to healthy yet tasty food is apparent. I do believe she also serves chicken and fish for the non-veg people, but I didn’t encounter that while I was there. Retreats are her specialty. I booked 5 nights and she created a custom program for me. Being a yoga/meditation instructor and energy worker myself, I always enjoy going new places and trying out new teachers and classes, and Prescilla teaches some unique modalities. She also created a lot of variation in the schedule which kept it engaging. As part of the program she gave me two facials using organic fruits and clay from the farm, foot reflexology, hot stone massage as well as her unique version of energy healing. We also had a field trip one day, hiking to nearby Tangadan Falls, which was both challenging and fun, especially swimming in the pool below the falls. The retreat was a perfect balance of practices, healing services and pure relaxation/down time. The accommodations can vary. I stayed in the rather rustic Nipa hut, which if you’re squeamish about bugs and not having luxurious toilet facilities, is not the right lodging for you, in which case the bungalow is available which is basically like a hotel room. But the huts have their own appeal. Honestly, aside from some ants, the occasional spider or bee passing through, there was very little bug issue. And the real appeal of the hut is the open air, indoor/outdoor feel where you overlook the lush garden greenery of the farm and the ocean off in the distance, not to mention the sunset! The bed is comfortable, and if the composting toilet really freaks you out, there is a communal flush toilet just steps away in the building next door. Also, be aware that Prescilla has four dogs who are always nearby. Personally, I loved it, but not everyone might feel that way. So while NHH is not easy to get to, that’s also part of the appeal. Located on Luzon, in the rural area of San Fernando, it’s going to be a journey to get to the center, and even though the town of San Fernando can be heard in the distance, the beauty of being removed from the city and out in nature is well worth the effort. The food, the sounds of nature, the visual beauty of all that grows there, not to mention the pure intention behind the place… it’s all incredibly healing. While people do drop in for yoga classes and some of her world-class cooking, retreats are really the specialty here, so if you’re looking for something unique and highly nourishing, I cannot recommend NHH enough.
