Just north of Frankfurt at the foot of the Taunus Mountains, Bad Homburg has been treasured for its healing baths since the 19th century, when it hosted royalty from across Europe and the world. Of course they also came for its casino, sometimes called "the mother of Monte Carlo." Today, both the original Spa Park (or Kurpark) and the Bad Homburg Casino are still here, and visitors also enjoy Bad Homburg Castle and its White Tower. Just northwest of town is Saalburg, a restored Roman fort.

We have visited and seen many Therme, Spas & Wellness in Germany, but the facility is really tops. Wonderful warm water in and outdoor Pools, large sauna facility and the special 1001 Night Oriental section, full with aroma chambers, Hamman, various pools with garden view, Himalaya salt sauna, hot flavoured jacuzzis, you name it they have it. We spent over 5 hours in this wellness, much to our enjoyment. They have clean and great changing room facilities, free parking outside. The only drawback is their restaurant seating area. Hard and no atmosphere. Overall a great experience.
