Bormio has literally been a tourist hot spot for centuries—ever since Roman times, visitors have flocked to its thermal hot springs. Today, most tourists come from other cities in Italy. Not into getting overheated? You’ll find great skiing (including a downhill course used on the World Cup circuit), or you could explore the medieval town center.

The venue is located near Bormio in the Italian Alps and is well known for its skiing area. The village itself is arranged along a little creek named Frodolfo and the centre is not very big. The main attraction is of course the skiing area. They don't have many slopes but they are enough for every skill level. There are enough restaurants on the slopes for having a rest too. Normally there is not much traffic on the slopes which makes the skiing really great.

Had 6 lessons with Giada. She was absolutely fantastic, so friendly and patient! All of the staff were super friendly too, I even booked more lessons whilst I was there. 100% recommend this ski school!!

Official winter opening: 30 November 2019. Bormio Ski is a company founded in 1966 and house of the World Cup Men’s Downhill on the legendary Stelvio slope. Our resort has been chosen to host the 2026 Olympic Winter Games. Bormio Ski is defined as the vertical fun for its slopes over 3,000 meters, a vertical drop of 1,800 meters and fun attractions like the funslopes, floodlit slopes and the snowpark.
Slopes are accessible from the town, lots of Hotels and typical Italian shops and cafes. Lots of varied skiing going as high as Bormio 3000. Also good for late season skiers and non skiers as plenty of activities available in the town when the snow has gone in the valley but remains on the mountain. Plenty of mountain bars in which to take a break from the skiing.
