I have known this area many years, since childhood and seen lots of changes. It has now become a really tourist trap with little huts of craft work on display and for sale, food, the fish market is the best and service and the Crab and Winkle cafe excellent. New development of shops and food hall being built and it goes on with attraction. Really worth a visit day and night.

Whitstable is a great place to go shopping so many independent shops, lots of lovely boutiques and gift shops, plenty of places to stop for a lovely lunch or coffee and cake. There is also the Harbour Village Huts selling artisan goods, art and food.
