Icaria, also spelled Ikaria (Greek: Ικαρία), is a Greek island in the Aegean Sea, 10 nautical miles (19 km) southwest of Samos. According to tradition, it derives its name from Icarus, the son of Daedalus in Greek mythology, who was believed to have fallen into the sea nearby.

What's more beautiful than spending a little creative time on your holiday and purchasing the most special souvenirs ... made from your own hands! At Artemis Studio's workshop, in the months of June-September, artistic seminars are organized for all ages since 2005. The seminars are aimed at beginners and each is self-contained. One can only attend one day or more, depending on the time available, creating something different every time. Our workshop is open to students for internship programs as well as to artists who want to make use of space and equipment to develop a project.
