With nine bays and 36 beaches, Huatulco is ideal for anyone who loves the sun. It's not an overdeveloped resort town, but the hotels are comfortable—even luxurious. Ecotourism is gaining in popularity, so take a break from sunbathing and try river rafting or a hike through the jungle.

Space dedicated to the authentic and genuine artisans of the eight regions of Oaxaca. It was created in 1992 on the Huatulco coast and has worked in favor of the cultural conservation, preservation and rescue of the artisan work of the Oaxacan families. It has a great diversity of 100% handmade crafts and stands out for the high quality criteria it offers. Currently this space is monitored by its fifth generation of artisans. They are in charge of promoting a workshop on the pre-Hispanic techniques of dyeing with natural fibers and Zapotec looms for making wool rugs.
We were told about this shop and wondered in unexpectedly while in La Crucecita. The shop owner showed us how they made the different coloured dyes and explained how the loom worked. We bought coffee and chocolate. They have a huge assortment of handmade gifts
