Itoshima is a very popular area you reach in an hour from Fukuoka city. You will cycle around Itoshima and visit the must-see spots on this tour! You will first cycle through serene rice fields and a river, which takes you gradually to the ocean! There is a BBQ spot near the ocean where you can have fresh local seafood! After you get full, your otomo guide will show you the art of nature: a unique-shaped rock island and a natural tunnel made from wood! No doubt you will be surprised by the solemness of nature! You will also stop by a fashionable knick-knack shop and a café on the way. Don’t forget to book your tour to cycle through the great nature of Itoshima with your otomo guide!

Dream Tours Japan was born out of the idea of giving people the feeling of being connected with the destination in every facet of the tour. Whether it be from the on board commentary, insights into daily Japanese life, historical and important information of each attraction, cultural experiences, Japanese food and drink tastings as well as personal opinions and facts about what it is truly life to live as an expat in this weird and wonderful country we call Japan. It is my belief that only a Private Tour consisting of a small numbers of members can create this important connection that will stay with us for the rest of our lives!

Inclusions: Either a sit down lunch or something on the go to save time is included., We carry extra snack on board our vehicles and at certain picnic like spots to enhance the atmosphere., Still and sparkling water is provided throughout the day,, Air-conditioned vehicle, WiFi on board, GST (Goods and Services Tax), Parking Fees, Alcoholic beverages are provided at appropriate stops along the way., Gratuities

We have happily hired Nagasaki tour guide Shannon Lefebvre for our two visits to Japan and have recommended him to others. Yes, you'll see the usual tourist sights, but he also offers delightful off-the-beaten path experiences, such as having a picnic lunch amid cherry blossoms (when they're blooming) or visiting an unusual hotel where the front desk "receptionists" are robots. His tours are highly recommended.

The flexibility to chose locations that suited our wants and abilities was great. Hiro San was very quick to put together an itinerary that accommodated a family with a stroller-baby (no monkey park due to long unpacked walking paths). Taking in the beautiful temples and view of the Kyoto from the west was breath taking and the guide was able to explain many things we as new Japanese learners could not read or know through cultural knowledge. Overall a great experience, a wonderful and lively guide, and some great memories.

We have happily hired Shannon Lefebvre twice for our two visits to Nagasaki. Yes, we did the usual tourist sites, but he also gives you an enjoyable glimpse of daily life in the area, including -- weather permitting -- a tasty picnic lunch and immersing your tired traveler's feet in soothing hot springs water. An excellent day trip for cruise ship passengers or other visitors to Nagasaki and vicinity.
