Tuşpa was the capital of Urartian Kingdom since 9th century BC. Its fortress was the longest one used until 1915. From Van Castle, the remains of two minarets and ruins of a church can be seen, nothing else left. In Van Museum and Historical Ruins (opens in August 2019, located in front of Van Castle), there are at least 3 pictures or drawing of Tuşpa.
