My grandchildren absolutely LOVE the unique play structures in this park! All of the pieces were commissioned by hospitals and private companies and constructed by different artists. The 'playground' is between the paved walkway and is a safe distance from the fence that is next to the street. There are benches with trees and flowers along the walkway and the surfaces under the play structures are a soft and fast-draining material. The area is kept clean and the grounds maintained by volunteers. Admission is FREE. Completely worth an hour or two for children with a LOT of energy!

Lost Corner Preserve

Peaceful spot in a nice neighborhood. There is about a mile trail that wanders through the woods. It is well maintained and has rock over the dirt so it was ok after a rain. Not muddy. Take the time to read the sign about the history of the land. The current house is built in the spot of the original 1820 homestead. It us used for events probably not during COVID though. Restrooms available on lower level of house. We were looking for a different spot for a short walk and this worked out well. It is a preserve so there are no ball fields or playgrounds.

Steel Canyon Golf Club

This is not your ordinary golf course & driving range. Located in Sandy Springs on Morgan Falls Road, Steel Canyon (formerly known as Blue Heron) is a really fun, yet different, 18 hole, par 61 executive golf course. We recently planted all new greens and renovated much of the golf course so it is looking pretty spiffy. In fact, it is better than ever. It also has one awesome lighted practice facility where you can enjoy great grass, practice putting and chipping green, and new range balls. Add great PGA instruction and golf camps and you have the perfect place to master the game.
