The Frankland Arms is a lovely family and dog friendly traditional pub just a short walk from the market square in the heart of Thirsk. It has a great selection of quality cask ales, craft beers, lagers, spirits and wines. Most notably The Frankland also offers a fantastic range of gins all served with fever tree tonics and complimentary garnishes to enhance flavour. Beautifully decorated, the Frankland has a naturally warm and welcoming atmosphere, enhanced by an open fire in winter, and a festoon lit patio and lawned beer garden in the summer! The huge garden offers a kids climbing frame and a selection of garden games to keep the whole family entertained. The Frankland also now serves a delicoius pub food menu, offering excellent value and quality. In a rush you can always get a sandwich to go! The Frankland is a true community pub with a weekly quiz, pool table, darts board an amazing juke box and regular karaokes and charitable events!
Booked the garden for our little boys 3rd birthday party, went amazingly and the effort and support from Caroline, Neil and team was fantastic throughout. Great drinks, great staff, amazing location and the weather was perfect for us! We had a great barbecue for the adults with lots of freshly cooked food that went down extremely well with everyone there and the kids had a great little pic-nic. From the point of booking everything was well looked after, the attention to detail on what we needed (including dietary requirements on food) was fantastic. The food was great value and excellent quality. On a side note- with the current Covid situation at the forefront of a lot of our guests minds, the large space and precautions put in place by the pub meant that everyone felt safe and comfortable- for few people it had been the first time they had been out since the start of lockdown and it was great to see their concerns alleviated.
