The Biblins Campsite provides a unique opportunity for children, young people and community groups to camp and engage with nature, with many schools using the site as a stopover site on Duke of Edinburgh expeditions and other groups staying on site whilst engaging in hiking, canoeing and environmental education. It can also be used by larger groups – with 13 pitches holding between 25 and 70 campers per pitch, along with up to 19 under cover in the Burrow – and facilities are being developed to allow groups who don’t have their own equipment to camp.
This campsite is in an idyllic setting beside the Wye. We have often walked past the site on the footpath which runs through it but only this year have we been able to camp as the site normally takes groups and not families. The pandemic has changed that this year and the staff have taken carfe to ensuire that campers are safe. Tents were pitched a good 50m from each other and each pitch had its own dedicated shower and toilet which other campers were not supposed to use. The shower block was clean and the showers were hot. Would not hesitate to stay here again should the opportunity arise. Falling asleep to the sound of the Wye and buzzards is not to be missed!

This must be the best butterfly house in the UK and with the maze, maze museum and crazy golf it filled in most of the day for boys and girls aged 7-10 years. The mums enjoyed it to. There is a small cafe and picnic tables. The downside is that even though you are refunded £1 of the £2 car park fee and there is plenty of parking, over stay by 1 minute and you receive a hefty £100 fine. It really does spoil the day. We were planning on returning with various relatives and groups of friends but after the parking issue, we won't be going back.
