Price Mem. park is a thoughtfully designed park suitable for playing, walking, biking, sitting, running, people with accessibility challenges, and is flat, so low impact from stroller users to assistive walk users to health challenged. Whew! Really nice picnic and seating areas, very nice playground equipment, and portable bathrooms available. It has an excellent dog park, well designed. One side for small dogs and one side for large. As with all dog parks, keeping it clean and making sure that dog owners pay attention to their dogs is an issue. Small dog owners regularly put their dogs on the large dog side. It's a good park for dogs, with regularly self-centered human behavior. On a good day, it's the best. On leash, dogs can be walked around the walking trails, so don't be detered if you arrive and the dog area has "stupid humans" in it! Just take a lovely stretch of the legs and paws and hope they leave by the time you make the loop. Note: as with any dog park, check the website to see if there is a parasite warning posted. When humans don't pick up after their dogs, especially in the summer, there is sometimes a warning on the Price Mem. park page.
